(Update: on the wacom side, support section search 'big sur'. Everything looks fine in the settings, but always the message. First i updated the Macbook Air to Big Sur, then i bought the wacom one, installed the driver and software and get the security message. This may be the issue for others too, so perhaps try it once you are sure you've tried everything else. Yes i have the same prblem with an wacom one. So my guess is there is an issue with the Mac software and operating systems which is retaining a 'ghost' of some programming that corrupts the Wacom settings. (unfortunately I now have to transfer my mail etc accounts, and hopefully not the corrupted file. All to no avail.įinally the problem was solved by creating a new and clean user on the Mac, and loading the driver into that user's account - now the tablet runs perfectly. Wacom advised a whole new un-install and reinstall, update all programmes and operating systems (I use Creative Suite), and finally a full search of all the files for anything with wacom or tablet in the file or folder name and clear the trash can - and then clean re-install again. I un-installed the old Wacom Driver, installed the new one and plugged it in - it was terrible. ![]() I loved it, so did a quick search of blogs and then replaced it with a brand new Wacom Intuos Art (Medium) Pen and Touch CTH-690. When I updated to Sierra (due to instability in my Mac) the old wacom pretty much stopped working.
